Sorry for the lack of updates on this space as our cafe has been crazily busy for the past few weeks!
I guess we're all pretty worn out, but at least it's the happy kind of tired!
And we'll keep fighting on to serve you guys great food, great service with beautiful ambiance!
Today, I'll be sharing a little about these highly raved Lava Croissants you've been seeing all over the social media platforms!
Our cafe is NOT selling Lava Croissants, and we do NOT claim that these D.I.Y Lava Croissants will taste as awesome as those put out by the big brothers & sisters in F&B,
but it's just the kind of fun D.I.Y food projects you can try out with your friends, make a little mess, take a ton of pictures, or simply to satisfy your 3AM unearthly hour cravings for Lava Croissants!

Some tips we have to share when it comes to trying to recreate these highly sought after Lava Croissants:
1. Using croissants that are drier/ aged for a day (not freshly baked) actually makes it easier to pipe in the filling without making the whole croissant soggy.
2. Using sauces that react well to heat creates a more dramatic lava effect (think melted chocolate, melted buttery sauces, melted caramel)
3. Using a smaller squeeze bottle or filling up the entire squeeze bottle with your favourite sauces would make it a whole lot easier to pipe the croissants as there will be less air in the bottle. Likewise, if you're piping the filling with a long nozzle tip and piping bag, remember to squeeze out all the air first before piping!
